Mission

To work with others to improve the quality of life of people in Fareham especially anyone who is disadvantaged or excluded in anyway.

Aims

To reduce social isolation which occurs through

frailty of age,

physical, mental or sensory impairment or disability,

poor health,

economic circumstances,

lack of information,

or lack of understanding.

so that people may have the opportunity of active inclusion in the community of their preference.

Objectives

  1. To promote volunteering so that more people may be able to participate in community work.
  2. To provide a service to support voluntary organisations in Fareham.
  3. To establish strategic partnerships with other organisations.
  4. To conduct assessment of social need and to pilot programmes that arise.
  5. To provide information about community matters and to represent the voluntary sector.
  6. To operate community services where a need has been identified.
